seashell
Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything about it. On your profile page there's a green box with a number in it and 'good' written underneath. What does this indicate, please?
charic
Number of likes I believe. Kinda irrelevant as I found you can Like your own posts

Kiwi
Basschat - one big happy self congratulatory family. We've never had it so good.
BigRedX
IMO it's not that relevant unless have a "Dislike This" button too... On another forum I use they have this, and it certainly keeps the trolls and inflammatory posts in check when posting something stupid can get you a negative rating fairly quickly. Also the "score" is posted next to the user's screen name and avatar so it's easily visible to all.
Hamster
You can no longer 'like' yourselves! I'll think about introducing 'dislike' option as suggested

I come on here to learn stuff and hopefully have a laugh at the same time, not to stress about whether I've got a good 'appreciation' score. And wouldn't you find that some of the trolls would quite enjoy having a negative score anyway?

Maybe some trolls would revel in their negative scores, but the regular users learn to ignore what they say pretty quickly which makes their posts almost completely ineffective. seashell
OK, while I'm on a roll with stupid questions ... What is the 'friends' function for? I mean once someone is your friend on here is there anything special you can do with them? I don't mean like be their best mate in IRL, but anything on here you can do?
