MacDaddy
Larry Graham playing in that London in less than 3 weeks - 1st November - and no thread? Ably supported by Basschat's own Ray and his band The Fantastics! 3rdUncle
Big man's a Jehovas Witness these days. He might be going door to door during the day. He toured with Prince years back and I'm sure there's an interview on YouTube of them talking about going door to door between shows. I may have dreamt it, right enough. bluesparky
Ooh! And a mile from my house! I just need to convince the missus that i'm allowed to go, I come home from a tour the day before and leave the next day for another. On second thoughts, I'd better give it a miss, home life is more important this time. Hmm, but then again..
MacDaddy
One of the most influential bass players ever - and one who acheived commercial success - is playing in that London, his only UK gig, and only 3 replies?
Delberthot
I would love to see him live but not anywhere near London I'm still annoyed that I missed Jack Bruce in Glasgow in March

stingrayPete1977
We went last year , Ace! Funny how he can travel from the states but some people won't drive to London to see him. We went to Koko, parked for free in the next road, had a good natter in the car there and back with my mate and cost less in fuel than a train ticket to my nearest suitable venue locally
stonecoldbass
I went last year as well it is an amazing show! The guy is 60 odd and he plays for two hours solid. Non stop good time groove and entertainment from a man who is a true legend of the bass. I urge as many of you to go and see it just to witness how musical the man is. Started noodling around then Larry's guitarist hit the boost pedal for him and he was away! What a gig.
