MM Stingray 4string 5 string spacing

Hi can anyone tell me if the 5 string is the same ratio spacing as the 4 string or are the 5 stringers narrower than the 4 stringers by ratio .......taa.

4's have 19mm string spacing, and 5's have 17.5mm string spacing.

Olp 5's are even tighter too.

[/quote]True, though the neck on my OLP is slightly wider at the fat end than my MM (about 30 thousandths of an inch) so I swapped bridges to get the spacing to 17.5

Just measured my OLP Tony Levin signature... 64mm from middle of B string to middle of G string (I'm assuming to measure from the centre of strings) . That makes it 16mm spacing.
