Doing a ''just like the real thing'' soul review band so I sold my Lakland 5502 to a nice guy on here, and got me one of these..

Absolute Ebay bargain, was in V+R for over a grand!!!!

Absolute joy to play, amazing sound, light weight, came with all the American Vintage case crap too, fab!

Yeah it does play stunningly with rounds on, I've got roto flats on at the moment so it sounds as good as it looks but it is, frankly, horrible to play, I love the tension of flats to pluck, just not to fret! Thomastik flats on their way from America.

It also wears very nicely, mine's already got a fair few battle scars and ''rash'' from my belt buckle but frankly I don't mind too much as it's definitely a keeper.

But it sounds great, with foam mute, set flat through my little EA iAmp 500 and ebs 12.
