Very funny. Yeah except CBBC ends before then because all the kids will be at school by 9:00. Genius.

I'll have to take your well-informed word for that, is that when CBeebies starts?

I didn't actually call you any name whatsoever. I said you were making a condescending comment, in the same way that a smug little prick would. So I apologise if offence was caused :)

Ta, none taken. :)

They are both correct. 'Spelled' is more common in the USA, 'spelt' is English.

Indeed. One of many Americanisms you have to be careful of. It's not just the centers and centres that are different, oh no. You've got things like excercise and excersize, licence and license etc... It's amazing we can understand them at all really.

excercise and excersize,
Those are both wrong. :)
licence and license

And those are two different words - one is a noun, the other a verb. Examples you could've used: Defence, Offence.

In american they use it as a noun. And trust me, I've spent enough time applying for a "license" for the world's worst piece of computer software to know which one they use.

It'd be like chain mail, probably quite handy for some of the dives I've played in!

Found another use for strings today - cleaning out a blocked nozzle on a Henry Hoover. Gets to places where scissors and rulers can't reach!
I use them to whip students who can't spell properly. Sometimes I'll flagellate the ones with bad punctuation too, but only if I'm feeling really cantankerous. :)
Remind me never to take one of your evening classes.

Back on topic, i stick mine in my gig bag for the rest of eternity (till i break a string really) or when i change strings again.

Edited for better punctuation so i don't get whipped.
