daz
Any GnR fans out there? The bass player from Guns N Roses, Duff McKagen is touring the UK with his band Loaded. He is playing just up the road from me in Wrexham on the Friday 4th before Bass day, but I will still probably go. I cant say I am a huge fan but it is something to do. http://www.songkick....loaded/calendar ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also: The Zombies appear at the same venue on 17 Nov. What a great band featuring Colin Blunstone - vocals, Rod Argent - organ and vocals, Jim Rodford - bass, Tom Toomey - guitar and Steve Rodford - drums. http://www.allgigs.c...ember_2011.html In case anyone is wondering. I am only mentioning these two bands as they are appearing at The Central station in Wrexham, which is a small intimate venue and a good place to see a band close up, not a dot in the distance or 100 yards away between a sea of peoples heads. Also i think both gigs are only £17.50, not bad these days. Edited October 17, 2011 by daz
Lozz196
Well done Daz, I`ve seen Loaded live, and they were great. Got the first two cds as well. Playing my fave venue, the O2 Academy in Oxford, Nov 5th, or The Garage, Islington, Nov 8th.
