He said he paid £500 for a full overhaul, that seemed loads, for an amp that might make that if you are lucky. Might have to start learning this amp fixing faster and better. Ive been quoted crica £60 which would iclude full service, any cap's replacing and valves tested but not replaced. This was from a guy in Preston. Mr. Foxen Posted October 17, 2011 Author Share Posted October 17, 2011 I've paid £150 for a total rebuild of an old dirty trashed amp, and £120 to lose a slight hum and revlave with valves I supplied (involved full recap and new sockets).
