Pete Academy
I rate Me'Shell as one of the best groove bass players ever. Apologies if this clip has been on before, but this showcases her writing talent and David Dyson's sublime playing and sound. Unbelievable. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nzo80E8-ic
Kiwi
Dyson's got a nice growl going on there with his MTD but the low end lacks authority. That's kind of what has put me off MTD's when I've played them in shops. Love the playing though...not often you hear a two bass solo, let alone one that kind of works. Kiwi
Would have been good if Meshell had come back in on the vox after that piano solo with 'I'm diggin' you...like an old latin record."

M-N-Y
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7w6lUYBFDM&feature=related She is a total bass monster. Hope you like this track. Introduced to me by a good friend and monster groove player Ed Poole. Great sound, nice note choice, great groove. All round good for me at least
