jamiesonk666
Hi, after rehearsal in a grotty studio without my 8x10. I noticed how easy it was to crontrol feedback through their nasty Peavey 4x10+horn. If I wanted to add a horn to my box what would be best. Would probably make an external box and put a horn in it. What sort of attenuation would I need, what sort of cap and resistor would I need etc etc
Mr. Foxen
Need an inductor involved somewhere. Look up Fearful Headcase, that will sort you.
icastle
If you have feedback problems with your 8x10 then adding a horn to it isn't going to help very much. Piezo horns don't require resistors or capacitors but you do need to keep an eye on power ratings if you don't want your amp to fry it. jamiesonk666
Oh no. no problem with feedback. i love feedback. i just lo like being able to controit. l used to do it loads with my old crashdown cab. horns dont usually add much to the impedance of a box any way could always build an amp.
