The details. Reghin advanced model all solid double bass. All solid wood Romainian made double bass 3/4 Elite series upright with solid carved spruce top, solid maple sides, solid flat maple back. Ebony fingerboard & tailpiece. Strung with Thimastik spirocores.

[/quote] It does have a slight bevel, you should be able to tell from this photo, and yeah very interesting, i can just remember seeing plywood bracing and just assumed it was.
