basshole Posted October 24, 2011 Author Posted October 24, 2011 I've just had a reply from the guys at Blade Guitars (they're great btw), the bass was made in 1990. Here's some more info on the electronics, which is quite versatile as you can see.
oldslapper Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Fabulous basses these early Blades. They go "under the radar", and IMHO match your "named" super jazzes in all areas.
basshole Posted October 24, 2011 Author Posted October 24, 2011 Cheers guys. It's a player, for sure.
paul_5 Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 (edited) Bump for a lovely bass. Blade stuff is seriously under-rated. If it had one more string then I'd be tempted. It's got the 'pre lawsuit' headstock too. Nice! Edited October 26, 2011 by paul_5
basshole Posted October 26, 2011 Author Posted October 26, 2011 Thanx Paul! As I've said, it's a 1990 bass, so pre lawsuit headstock and made in Switzerland not Korea like the recent ones. Serious craftsmanship, and a lot of possibilities between the trim pots and the Treble/bass controls, if you ask me.
joe_bass Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Basshole is a pleasure to deal with. Buy with confidence!
