gjones
Hi all, Currently using an Ashdown ABM with 210 and 115 compact cabs, and this isn't enough to cut through at the larger venues without the cones farting. Any advice most welcome.
Wow, your drummer must be a BEAST if your ABM at full blast can't keep up! If I ever hear of an earthquake in Ilford I'll know what caused it. sixdegrees
He is indeed a beast. Only needs to mikes up the kick, and leaves a pile of sawdust in his wake! Being up against a Mesa rig doesn't help either. They have that James Hetfield sound that drowns out everything that dares to want sonic space in the mix. More volume displacement is required, either through increased woofer excursion, increased cone area or both.
