Just tried to book a delivery with them to find that their prices have rocketed, seems to be around £25 to send my usual bass sized box!

Have to try and find an alternative now.

The only problem is that you can't insure musical instruments over something pathetic like £150. Never had an issue with them though - it's just a Parcel Force service.

I`ve always used Parcel2go.com, though their prices have always been comparable to Interparcels.

Still £7+vat for a 110x45x20 box weighing 7kg and £10+vat for a 130x50x30 weighing 9kg.

The magic figure for the sum of all the dimensions seems to be 210cm, just 1cm over that and the prices rocket.

Interparcel, and recently Parcel2Go, have been great when Ive used them.

Parcel2Go parcel to Portugal was VERY fast, although as it was outside the UK, it was fairly expensive.

I've always used Interparcel, but the prices have risen a lot. Sending a bass is cheap enough, but to insure it for £1000 cost me £30 in total!

Try doing another quote the next day, as I remember doing this and it being a lot cheaper with more options. Not quite sure why, may have been to do with what pickup day you choose. Also, insurance above £150 does up the cost a fair bit, certainly on higher value stuff.
Haven't used them for a month or two, so I hope it hasn't rocketed too much as they've been my service of choice for the last couple of years.

Interparcel is one firm I've got total praise for..always got my deliveries to where they need to be safely and in good time. Only exception is if you post Friday on a "Next Day" delivery - this unfortunately means "Monday"..I think their charges are reasonable considering how valuable the item is you're sending..
