They are on all my basses. [/quote] Don't know man, maybe it's the finish on the bass, but they put some dings on there and believe me i'm uber careful with my basses. I left them off my 2011 Deluxe. You still have to buy a set to get the bits that go on the strap anyway Edit: Corrected year of bass - doh! [/quote] The new Fenders that I purchased had the strap part included amongst the case candy. You can usually get individual bits from Ebay and Allparts.
