discreet
I'm looking at buying a Babicz Full Contact Hardware Bass Bridge with adjustable locking cams etc, thus: http://www.fullconta...bass-bridge.htm From the pics and videos it looks to me like the cams and strings are recessed below the highest point of the saddles... I play with a pick and use a lot of palm muting. And while I would welcome not having to rip my hands on sharp grub screws, if the strings are recessed then this bridge will be of no use to me. Anyone got one of these, and if so, do you have a problem with palm muting? Thanks! Ou7shined
I haven't tried one but it doesn't look like there would be much of a problem. Don't you mute just in front of the bridge? Everyone's different but I do.
discreet
Nah, I mute right where the strings rest on the saddles. Hence the shredded hand from grub screws. Though I believe you can get shorter grub screws to alleviate this.
eddiehoffmann
I use a Babicz in one of my basses and never had problem palm muting when using a plectrum. Much more comfortable than resting your hand on the standard Fender bridge.

dr Szelma
I use a Babicz in one of my basses and never had problem palm muting when using a plectrum. I have tried Babicz and I was not very happy with it! It supposed to be BadAss killer but it is not...
discreet
Aha! Exactly what was it that you weren't happy about with the Babicz?
