grum
Anyone have a link to a good guide to doing basic setup? I just bought a MiM Fender Active P Bass Special off here - very happy with it but it seems the setup needs some tweaking. Some of the higher frets don't work (not sure what the technical term is) and the string buzz is a bit more than I would like. I am planning to put some Labella Flats on there anyway - but I read somewhere these strings have quite a high tension and the truss rod might need adjusting as a result? Just wondering if this is relatively simple or a local guitar shop job. I'm not a complete numpty but not a tech genius either. Thanks.
