Davebassics Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 (edited) She is in great nick considering she is about to go into her 18th year of service. There are signs of cosmetic wear but nothing that effects the sound or playability of this instrument. Made in 1994, the words 'Made in West Germany' are found on the tuning pegs. The Wenge neck is the epitome for bass necks IMO. The bass balanced so well with the extended arm and weighing under 9lbs it is great for those long sets. Great versatile MEC electronics, anything from blues p bass style to jaco solo style with the P/J Pu's. Had it professionally set up when it was restung and what a good move that was. Action is sitting low evenly across the wenge fretboard. This bass would be well into the thousands if you were to go custom shop at warwick. Asking £400 + Courier. Evil Undead Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Shame you have to sell this Dave, I know how much you love it. But anyway, I'm the aforementioned previous owner, and it really is a stunning bass. Sounds great, feels great, everything's great. In fact if I was rolling in cash right now I'd probably buy it back. And Dave is a good guy to deal with.
