Vintendo Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Hi Guys, i've just recently bought a 98 SVT-4 for £350 (Pretty good deal if you ask me). The only issue with it is the frequency cross over knob has snapped off and will need a new pot, how easy is this to replace myself or would it be a job for a pro? Thanks alot Quote

Once you've done that it's just a case of desoldering the pot contacts, sliding the replacement in, resoldering and reassembling the amp. Not a major undertaking but it really depends on your manual dexterity and ability to wield a soldering iron. Quote
