LED's on my Warwick 91 Thumb bass

may be leds, or optical fibres - not sure.

Acquired the bass recently. Has battery box just for the lights. 3x9v ...yes that's right 3... I know...!

anyway, they don't work. There's a toggle switch in the main control cavity which is supposed to turn them on, and when I tug gently on the battery wires I can follow them. They go under the p'ups and into the main cavity, then they disappear down a hole somewhere.

anyone with experience on getting these going - would appreciate any advice offered before contacting Warwick.

thanks in advance!!!!!!!

hey!! found a dry joint on the switch..... luckily ...fixed it...!!

Keep the post going for anyone else with the same problem.

re the optic verses LED - your right, I had a thumb way way back, and I remember a tiny flashlight light bulb that drove the optics.
There's no light source in the the body of this bass so it has to be LED's.
