Shonks Posted October 30, 2011 Share Posted October 30, 2011 may be leds, or optical fibres - not sure. Acquired the bass recently. Has battery box just for the lights. 3x9v ...yes that's right 3... I know...! anyway, they don't work. There's a toggle switch in the main control cavity which is supposed to turn them on, and when I tug gently on the battery wires I can follow them. They go under the p'ups and into the main cavity, then they disappear down a hole somewhere. anyone with experience on getting these going - would appreciate any advice offered before contacting Warwick. thanks in advance!!!!!!! warwickhunt Posted October 30, 2011 Share Posted October 30, 2011 LEDs on a 91 bass, however it's unlikely that Warwick would be able to do anything for you (they are a factory fit I assume). You may be better off going to Simms or similar but someone competent with a multimeter may be able to identify if it is an easy fix. Keep the post going for anyone else with the same problem. re the optic verses LED - your right, I had a thumb way way back, and I remember a tiny flashlight light bulb that drove the optics.
