I am forming this notion that the Buzz is the perfect fretless bass for me - even more than the Fender Jaco Artist Jazz bass that I have! Would love to check out that theory but don't know if I could afford one!

What is the asking price on this?

Have a bump on me for a fantastic fretless!

They ARE the best fretless on the market IMHO, followed closely by the Steinberger XL2A. Replace the barts with something more hifi though if you like your mids and sparkles. Change the pre to one with sweepable mids for extra control.

Superb build quality, incredible necks, each one is hand made. Very low production volumes each year. The Wals are slightly growlier thanks to the mahogany body but lack the same sustain.

I had an MVP5 Signiture bass (5 string fretted version of Buzz) and loved it! I stupidly sold it on, and regretted it ever since! If I had the chance to get another MVP5, I'd jump at it if I had the cash available! Great basses! As Kiwi says though, if you want versatility, then swap out the pups and pre. These are not the most versatile sounding of basses, but the one or two sounds they give are fantastic, and hard to better!!

I'd thoroughly recommend this type of bass to anyone!

Hope you get a deal going soon!

Regards
G!
