bit short on pictures of any important details...so while the pickup looks about the right shape, what's on the front of the headstock?

It's a roadie model i think ,so probably black headstock (?)

Yes but the auction has days to go, so the price may well be down in the dumps right now but could end anywhere... including staying at the price it is, I suppose!
