I may or may not get a top, but I'll be there, and I'll soon start pestering everybody in a new thread so that we decide where, when and how to have a Basschat meetup at the show and/or after it B) :D

Don't think I'll be getting a top, but I'm willing to wear a red carnation and carry a rolled up copy of the Financial Times

Hi Everyone,
We are delighted to announce that Paul Turner, bassist for Jamiroquai and former Bass Guitar Magazine cover star, will be taking to the mainstage on Saturday the 03rd of March with his four-piece band Shuffler. Paul has been in the Jamiroquai bass chair since 2005, and the list of his recording and live credits reads like a who’s who of music royalty: Annie Lennox, Tina Turner, Brian Ferry, Tom Jones, George Michael and many more.

Paul will be performing a set on the mainstage with his band Shuffler, which also features Jamiroquai’s drummer and guitarist, Derrick McKenzie and Rob Harris. So expect some fine and funky grooves, as well as opportunities to ask Paul questions about all things bass!

Check out the links below to see what Shuffler are all about:

Paul joins TM Stevens, Yolanda Charles, Tony Butler, Neil Murray, Andrew Levy and Jon Thorne in the line up for this year's show - with more exciting names to be announced in the next few weeks.

The London Bass Guitar Show takes place at Olympia Conference Centre on the 3rd & 4th March 2012. www.londonbassguitarshow.com

I went on line to order my tickets, but when I got to the page where you enter card details I noticed that the address didn't seem to be 'secure'.
I was expecting to see https/ etc etc, but instead it was just http/

Did this happen to anyone else? Am I right to be cautious about this?

That seems to check out. The 'next step' button is an https link (in a frame, FWIW).
