Phil-osopher10 Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I found a dirt cheap tele on gumtree for £20! not bad so i bought it. Now he had sprayed it black but it looks to be a yellow beneath that. mmy question is it wise to spend a bit of money and make it into my little project or put the money i was going to spend on it into someting a wee bit better? The paint seems to be in pretty bad nick and there are a few scrapes here and there. so maybe been dropped or bashed a bit. What do you think is it worth it? Quote
GarethFlatlands Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Depends what make it is and what kind of condition everything is in. If it plays well and you can see yourself using it then do some work on it but don't expect much in the way of re-sale if it's not a brand anyone has heard of. Quote
