Oldman
Well, there comes time when enough is enough, or not as the case maybe. I ordered my Black standard 5 String Streamline in May 2010, took delivery September 2010, ordered the flight case as well that took 3 weeks. By mid October 2010 I was the thick end of £1,800.00 light but happy with my purchase. Check out the specs http://www.status-gr...index_home.html and the prices http://www.status-gr...1_Pricelist.pdf I paid list for both items as you do. Why am I looking to maybe sell, well I bought this to take with me on my travels I cover the Middle East but it was apparent that the “Gig Bag” was too flimsy to travel with and the Flight Case too expensive as excess, also as a result of this since my purchase in 2010 it has never travelled, just as well as my last trip I arrived in Basra minus case. I have also been out of the country for over 185 days since my purchase, no life for such a fine piece of craftsmanship I hear you say. So I would like to sell it on and I would like to gauge interest. I don’t want a trade, even partial, its just cash I would like and I will not split, its case and bass. This is Factory Fresh seen the light of day maybe 6 times and stood sulking on a stand for a while. If you wanted one today it would cost you the list, I’d be happy with £1,600.00, but hey PM me. Thanks for looking.
martthebass
I love my Streamline 4 more than any bass I've ever owned......thank god this is a five or I'd be looking at a divorce. Bump
Phantomnin
Have you got pictures, and does it have eiither a bendwell, or 16.5mm string spacing.
markorbit
I'll register a fleeting interest at this point although I'd need to raise some cash. I like my Steinberger and the Streamliner is on my list of basses to try although a Ken Smith is probably above it.
Oldman
Its a standard Streamline no bendwell, standard spacing at I think at 16.5mm. Putting it on the Status Forum as well (thanks Martin)

markorbit
Looks like standard spacing to me at 19mm. The 16.5mm is a custom option I believe.

OutToPlayJazz
It's such a good job I'm broke at the moment!!! Oh, and standard string spacing on five string Status models is 18mm. It's 19mm on the four stringers. And yes, I am anally retentive enough to feel the difference when playing! Best of luck with the sale, mate - It's a lovely bass. Kiwi
SKB do a bass safe - a plastic shell into which you put the bass in its gig bag. I've travelled to Dubai and Spain with mine...

Oldman
WITHDRAWN: Guys I put this out as a feeler as I expressed an interest in the fretless precision due in soon and after communicating with Walbassist. I have now withdrawn my interest in the Precision and will be keeping The Knave for the foreseeable future. Thanks for the comments I will check the string thing, not that it will make blind bit of difference to my playing. Thanks again

Wish my Jazz would sell as easily as these seem to, however I think mine would have to be prised from my cold, dead mitts!
