'Deleted' conversations

Looking at my message inbox, I see that some of the conversations have been flagged as 'deleted', with a little red icon.

Would anyone care to explain to me what the significance of this is, or tell me where I can go and read about it?

I have been wondering the same thing - Nothing laid out in discussions about the upgrade. From what I can tell, it is notifying you that the other person has deleted the message (in the same way it tells you what time they read messages when you go into it). It has little significance to you, other than you now know which people don't value your conversation very much
