Hola. In Guitar Guitar earlier and felt the neck on a Fender Classic '50s P...

now, should I trade all the (mint!) stuff in my sig (apart from my Ibanez, bass amp and Jazz) in order to pursue one?
Urgh... it's the first time i've had this sickness in the pit of my stomach.

It really depends on how much you like your other toys.

But my knee-jerk reaction is no, you should not. Get rid of the Squier P and Tele and get the Fender P, yes, but surely you don't need to flog those two AND your Blackstar AND the Ibanez? It seems a little harsh. Still, the Blackstar is hardly irreplaceable.

Give it a week. If you still feel the same, then go for it.

Stop being silly. If you just have an irresistible urge to spend money then replace that Ashdown combo.

Those Fender Classic 50s Precisions are great basses. I`ve not played one of the Squier CV Precisions, so can`t offer a comparative view.

+1 - my favorite neck I've had on any bass, ever, and it sounds massive.

It's the same neck size as on the Road Worn - I think!

I know what you mean about the 50s Classic P - the neck's fantastic on it and it sounds great. I had the 2T sunburst one and wish I still had it - best P I've ever played.
