Bass amp for acoustic guitar

I haven't tried it yet, but listening to my Peavey 410tx, it seems to have enough top end that it would be killer for a piezo bugged acoustic guitar. At least, in conjunction with the Trace head anyway.

Anyone tried this ?

Well my tc electronic amp sounds surprisingly good with a strat and a pod when it's going through my 2x12.

I play in an Acoustic band and use an Acoustic Image Clarus 2R series iii through my Eden 2x10" and it sounds ace. It's got two channels so I run my mic through it as well for backing vocals as we don't use a PA system.

I do like a deep full bodied acoustic sound, with a crisp top end.

I also have an idea that a mic'd Bodhran would sound awesome through it too.

I've used my Markbass combo many times with my electro acoustic plugged into it. Sounds really good too & is probably the only time I have the treble on flat (usually back it off a bit for bass).
