NS Design strap systems

Just got myself an original-style NS strap system to see how it compared to the boomerang strap I've been used to for well over a year now, anyone else use one of these? It certainly gives a better playing position but is hellishly uncomfortable, although the metal plate in my left collar bone probably isn't helping things given that it lines up perfectly with the strap button bolt end! Anyway apart from the pic of Tony L using one on the NS site I can't find much info... can anyone suggest the best way to use/wear it?
