EdwardHimself Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 (edited)
We all have out heads turned by the frantic playing of the Wootens, the Sheehans, the Manrings etc but, in an effort to achieve Basschat Balance, I wondered what are people's favourite slow songs. I am not using 'slow songs' in the perjorative 'last dance at the wedding/fundtion' sense. I mean what pieces of music move or excite you without the histrionics or even without a backbeat or a bass.
I'm not sure I really listen to that much music which doesn't have at least a small amount of bass and drums in it. That's the issue. Most of the songs that I do listen to of that sort are usually acoustic performances of "heavier" songs. Edited February 11, 2012 by EdwardHimself Quote
oldslapper Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Stardust, Hoagy Carmichael. I always end up smooching with my bass during this one. :-) Quote
