The preamp has been upgraded to an Audere 3ZB - [url="http://www.audereaudio.com/3ZB.htm"]http://www.audereaudio.com/3ZB.htm[/url] which is a very big improvemement. I did a little review of it here ( which also has a couple of pictures) - [url="http://basschat.co.uk/topic/1723-audere-3zb-on-board-preamp/"]http://basschat.co.u...n-board-preamp/[/url] The Lakland is an excellent working tool for anyone who uses (or has a use for) a 5 stringer without breaking the bank. It's got a killer low B and the action on this one is really sweet - a pleasure to play. Cash wise, and with the Audere fitted I suppose I'm looking for £450, and I'll include the original Lakland preamp if you want it. If you uninstall the Audere it'll leave a small 2/3mm on the top where the battery condition LED is fitted. I don't use this anymore and have already replaced it on a '1 in, so 1 must go' basis. However, the eternal ache of GAS affects everyone! The only bass I would consider in exchange would be a Fender Jazz (with a proper thin Jazz neck) in sunburst with rosewood neck - with money to you or me if appropriate.
