changed my picups on my p bass a while back ,so i dont remember? just took my scratch plate off to tighten my knobs, and the wire coming from my bridge.......do i soilder it to my jack input or the volume pot?? dont want to cock it up ;-( .it was such a noise free bass before ,now it hums like a bitch.

Or the furthest so if it does break you can still solder it to the shortest.*

what a dope! spent all day re wiring my pups to pots ,changed the bridge wire ,tried each pot and input jack........still humming (well pee'd off by now).

all the time it was a dodgy socket my amp was plugged into :-D.....school boy error!
