vicar
Hi Guys, Was wondering what settings you use on Chorus and Flanger pedals? I know there are a number of different makes out there, but, apart from quality, I assume roughly the same sounds can be achieved, from the same four controls on any pedal? or am I wide of the mark? I was just wondering what settings can be used for different types of playing style and genre? In particular, I am trying to get my head around the Mick Karn sound and playing style. Many thanks in advance. Vicar
xgsjx
When I'm using it, I have the chorus depth on full & the speed either right down so it just thickens up the sound or right up so it's wowowowowobbily. Closest thing I have to a flanger is the Bass Murf on LFO setting.
pantherairsoft
Hi Vicar, It will vary massively on the pedal. While many similar sounds can be achieved, the actual controls utilised are often not only different, but have totally different maximum/minimum points. I'd suggest listening to a few examples in the net, or trying a few in local stores. Pick one that has a tone that appeals to you and then work from there.
