budget bassist
So are the any of the muffs any good? (mig muff, little big muff, whatever other muff) I know burton used one, but i asked some guys in a shop and they reckoned it was crap for bass, so what do you guys think? I'm looking for a decent upgrade from my crappy old behringer overdrive pedal.

sk8
Little big muff is preferred on bass as it doesn't have th elow end loss of the Big Muff apparenetly
Mr. Foxen
I use a standard silver big muff at the moment, blended with clean. I put the bridge pup through the muff and the the neck pup clean, so I can have it snarl up my sound a bit, then turn up the pup to bring the roaring feedback for those parts (playing slow droning doom). Gonna go check out the other muff options.
cheddatom
Do you have two outputs on your bass to do this? That's cool!

Good for borrowing guitarist's effects without losing your lows.
cheddatom
I use different techniques to do the same thing. I'd love to try that though, I might try and modify my backup bass.
