Marleyrules Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) Really regrettably I have to sell my beautiful Rickenbacker, I bought it knowing one day I would need the money, and unfortunately the time has really come. It's in great condition, it's not been gigged and the only sign of ware is a small chip at the top of the bass, this was caused by me getting it out of the case without enough care, its smaller than a quarter of the size of a 5p coin. I had it looked at and it's been quoted at less than £50 for a touch up back to mint condition. They don't make these anymore, they're discontinued and as a result aren't that common, it'll be worth a shed load more in a few years. I really don't want to sell it and really want it to go to a good home, it's like nothing else i've ever played before and I'll be truly saddened to see it go. I'm looking for around £2400, maybe a part ex with money if you have something nice. Pick up only please, can meet in Manchester if required. NEED A QUICK SALE! feel free to ring me on 07429330309 Pics here: https://picasaweb.go...feat=directlink Edited March 9, 2012 by Marleyrules

molan Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 Just a tip for anyone new in the for sale section - it's often worth checking if anything similar has sold recently, gives you a good idea on a guide price to sell at

Marleyrules Posted December 27, 2011 Author Posted December 27, 2011 Can't believe this isn't fleeting much interest, it's rare as hell! Nobody interested?
Bankai Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 I think it's because they're still in production at a price that's not much higher than what you're asking for here. (imo of course)
deanbean502 Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012
3 bumps in 1 day?
Doest it matter? Good luck bump
Marleyrules Posted April 12, 2012 Author Posted April 12, 2012 Cheers guys, they're actually discontinued and aren't still being made but there's new ones still floating about. The price will only go up, it's just a shame I have to sell
4000 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 I think the current economic climate may also have a fair bit to do with it...
Marleyrules Posted May 2, 2012 Author Posted May 2, 2012 Yeah I agree, it's the right price for the bass, it's in a rare colour and it's discontinued, just a shame everyone's short on cash at the moment. Fair enough though!
