Blademan_98
I went to see Bill Wyman last night. Albert lee and George fame in the line up. really good although Bill lacked enthusiasm somewhat (trying to type on my phone = fail)
Telebass
Have an album of his somewhere - quite liked it! But then Bill never looked terribly into it, did he? Edited November 14, 2011 by Telebass
flyfisher
The Rhythm Kings? Saw them some years back and Bill was doing the classic stand-still-and-don't-show-any-emotion bass-player thing. But then he's always been like that hasn't he? Still, he must be enjoying it surely, because I can't imagine he needs to? Just his style I guess. E sharp
really good although Bill lacked enthusiasm somewhat
I think that this is a throw back to his Stones days , when his enthusiasm was saved for , how shall we say it : the after show performance
Paul S
I've see the Rhythm Kings every year for the past few years - and again coming up at the end of the month. Top entertainment! Albert Lee is a megastar.
ZMech
Yeah he's playing in Bristol tonight. Whilst I'm not going to see him, my uni jazz society will be having a jam in the foyer out front for the hour beforehand, which should be good fun. Cat Burrito
I saw him last week in Basingstoke. Georgie Fame, Albert Lee - some serious players. I like Wyman but he is probably the least talented in that band. The drummer and piano player were amazing and the horn section were really fun to watch. It was a little show band for my tastes in places but Wyman was doing what he wants to do. I don't know about other nights but he walked on and said "this isn't a career move for me" which I liked. I'm pleased I saw him.
chris_b
These are now guys doing what they wanted to do before the Stones got in the way. Charlie Watts is playing his jazz, but needs another drummer to keep the feel going and Bill is just having fun. Although it's difficult to tell with him! I still love them, though.

I was sat in the airport whilst typing but I'm back now! It was going to be a review but my phone is not that good
