I'm selling my beloved Trace Elliot AH200 bass amp head. It's the series 6 model with the legendary GP12 preamp. It was made in about 1992 when Trace Elliot gear was some of the best around. These amps are very sought after and this is an excellent example of such a fine bass amp. It's in perfect working condition and sounds truly fantastic. The tone is incredible and I'm only selling as i've just upgraded to an AH300 which is exactly the same but with a UV light and its 300 watts not 200. This head really is wonderful. Even though it's only rated at 200 watts this head is really loud and many believe that it's up there with modern 400 watt heads. There's more than enough power for small to medium gigs anyway.

Cosmetically it's in generally pretty good condition. All the knobs are present (even the little EQ ones) and they are all smooth and work as they should. There are a couple of knocks here and there and a few tiny tears in the tolex covering. There is some scraping and surface rust around each of the corner caps but that's about it. These amps are built like tanks and are very hardwearing. There still years of life left in this head.

Specs are as follows:

200 watts at 8ohms
Gain indicator with LED lights
Passive and Active bass inputs
Noise reduction button
12 band graphic equaliser
EQ on/off switch
Switchable mid pre shape EQ preset button which gives a great rock tone.
Built in DI (pre and post EQ settings)
Footswitch input
Effects send/return sockets
Line in/out sockets
Headphone socket

Price is £175 but I would be willing to accept sensible offers close to this.

I also have a matching Trace Elliot 1153T 1x15 cab which can be also be available along with the head. The cab is in generally the same condition as the head. If you wanted both head and cab together I would accept £250.

I'm located in Runcorn, Cheshire. I would like cash on collection please. Any questions please feel free to ask :)
Thanks, Chris.
