Low End Bee
The guitarist and I would like a pedal that does bleeps, bloops, white noise, whatever. Doesn't matter really as long as it sounds a bit dissonant/oddball. Just for a couple of songs we have in mind. Don't want to spen too much either. LeftyBiskit
Napalm pedals do one called a feedback looper. any good to you?
cheddatom
you have to have pedals that go in the feedback loop surely? But yeh a feedback loop with a distortion pedal in will make some weird noises for you. If you could afford to get a multi effects, like one of the plastic Zoom units, and then put that in a feedback loop, you'd have loads of fun. Analog delays will make an oscillating tone which can be useful.
Low End Bee
A feedback looper sounds the ticket I shall investigate. Thanks.

Pob
I got the Napalm feedback looper (Snowball) - it's fun. If you get a distortiony thing and a modulation thing in the loop it does a whole lot of weirdness. Look at Devi Ever stuff too. She makes some that self-oscillate which brings the nasty! theotherphiljones
not sure what you're looking for but look at the subdecay noisebox. maybe not ideal for you but you can get some pretty far out sounds
uncle psychosis
Zvex fuzz factory has many levels of craziness. If you can solder you can also build one cheaply: http://www.musikding.de/product_info.php/info/p2192_The-Factory--germanium-fuzz-kit.html I've done it. Well worth it, especially if you're looking for mad sounds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_S8xRiOqXtc

WMD Geiger Counter Civillian Issue Subdecay Noisebox Devi Ever Soda Meiser Each of the above go for about £70-£80 2nd hand and each do some crazyness! Cheaper than that - listen to the folks above!
