squire5 Posted November 15, 2011 Share Posted November 15, 2011 Just watched an interesting prog on BBC4 with Rick Stein (yeah,the cook) on the origins of the Delta blues.Really good and not a lot of cooking being done.Seems his hero is Howlin' Wolf,and he's a lover of the blues.It showed a pic of him in his school days and he was holding a cheap looking bass.Didn't have time to check it out but it had 4 in-line plastic tuners.Catch it if you can on iPlayer.
