wateroftyne Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Seriously, man - you can download them for £1.50 for the pair from Amazon... Quote
BottomE Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 Great track the Dap Kings. I use a thing called Free YouTubeToMP3Converter that i got off of Download.com Lets you specify the quality of conversion and has worked brilliantly for me (so far). A little ad pops up after each rip but takes a second to close it. Quote

geoffbyrne Posted November 17, 2011 Posted November 17, 2011 Download FreeStudio & you won't lack for anything. http://free-studio.en.softonic.com/ G. Quote
steve-bbb Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 if you download any of the free mp4 > mp3 converters then check your machine afterwards for spyware/malware - odds are there will be something lurking on your hard drive you wouldnt have knowingly invited Quote
geoffbyrne Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I've used FreeStudio for ages & (so far) it's been perfectly OK, but Avast! checks everything on download & has prevented one or two from happening, but this always gets the OK. but +1 on the above. G. Quote

geoffbyrne Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 'Ferr 'nuff, so be vigilant on all fronts. Personally, I've been lucky with FreeStudio, as have many of my friends, and have not had a problem with this particular package. What *really* p*sses me off is the number of utility progs/etc which want to install "information bars" or similar into your browser - if you allowed them, you'd have no screen space left at all. G. JTUK Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Not sure I would trust Avast..esp not the free version. I would always run a few malware type apps.. and bounce between the two. For example Antispyware always picks stuff up that Avast 'misses'... Quote
EdwardHimself Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 (edited) TBH if I wanted to nick the audio off a youtube file then just use audacity or similar and set it to record the monitor or PC audio channel or something like that. Edited November 18, 2011 by EdwardHimself Quote

Do you just put the name of the process into Google and see what comes up? Quote

G.
Oh yep I agreesy. If you dont want them. You have to go to 'custom install' and make sure you un-tick the boxes to not include the tool bars etc. It calls it 'Custom Install' to scare off people who dont know too much about computer software. Often specifically pointing out that this is a supposedly dangerous route to take and only people like Bill Gates and Steve Wozniak, should dare to take on. Quote
Monckyman Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 I just used http://www.listentoyoutube.com/after.php to convert tunes to MP3,took about 20 minutes. Quote
