BigRedX
I've voted. Either keep the present Like/Dislike system or get rid of it completely. Having just a like button is too namby-pamby politically correct for an imaginary world where nothing horrible ever happens.

tony_m
FWIW, I've gone for the "Down With This Kind of Thing" option, though I should probably point out that I am a Grumpy Old Git who doesn't do FB and doesn't get this whole "Like" malarkey anyway... LawrenceH
I voted against the whole thing in the end because I think it encourages cliques and ultimately won't really help the mods either. But I was torn because '+1' is so irritating. Can we get rid of the system but also ban '+1'ing? Where did it even come from?

charic
FWIW I seem to remember way back when, before the upgrade a lot of people were saying "I wish there was a like, like on facebook"
thodrik
I went for 'likes' only. I nearly went with deactivate, but with facebook 'like' type stuff seems to be in fashion these days. I think that the existence of negative points could get very messy and personal so I wouldn't mind seeing it go. Kiwi
So far there are marginally more votes in favour of the system than against it...interesting.

Silvia Bluejay
Will the votes be counted like that? I thought that each option stood by itself and that the one with the most votes would be adopted. But I do get your point that for number of voters, there are more who favour one flavour of the system than dislike the system completely.
