paul_5
You could do a whole lot worse than a Dave Hall DI/EQ. They can be phantom powered from the desk and will allow you to EQ the DI out and the feed to your amp independently. I love mine. It's always with me on any gig just in case. http://www.davehallamps.co.uk/page42.html
NJE
Oh, now I see where the problem lies.
Normally I would be 100% behind that but unfortunately this is the first clued up, on the ball drummer I have played with. I am heading to practice early tonight to go through the rig and have a fiddle. Hopefully we can find the issue and solve it. If not DI box for me.... Jack
Aside: I love Dave's stuff but I wish it would be a little more restrained visually. Would he do you one in solid black with typed letters if you asked? I just think they look more 'homemade' than 'handbuilt' which is a shame considering their quality. bassmachine2112
Have a go with a behringer bdi21 ,hartke bass attack,mxr80 or similar. Behringer dirt cheap and does the job-had mine for years and keeps going.Records lovely as well Always the second thing to take with me,the first is my bass. I know -cables/leads but you get my drift,oh the leads are planet waves. 3 rd thing is a can of underarm smelly stuff. Spare packet of fag papers in a plastic bag with a cheapo lighter just in case and some tabbaco in the bag as well, just in case it all goes wrong -have a fag-why worry
