any idea of weight and string spacing?

String-spacing is 17mm or just a bit less. My four Wal 5s vary just a bit....17mm....16.8mm.....

I have a 1996 Mark III Schedua 5 also...similar top....it is a great sounding and playing Wal. Great vintage!

what about the hairline crack ?

Hairline crack was repaired by local luthier,and was so shallow,it was simply bonded,it cant be felt,but is visual,

I've had a look at this bass when Gary came to pick up my Dingwall.

It's in great nic with original case aswell. The hairline crack has been professionally done and you cannot feel it at all nor is there any neck movement (like a Wal should be like).

Great guy and great bass! Buy with confidence.
