As soon as I saw the thread title I guessed which bass you were talking about - I saw this ad stuck on the noticeboard at my rehearsal studio last night. Although he was 'only' asking £300 for it there. ugh

Odd looking. I thought at first someone had stuck a precision scratchplate on it, but now I'm starting to think it's original. I've got a columbus EB-3, which is completely faithful to the gibson, I've never seen one look like this. I got mine in pieces after an incomplete refin, I'm slowly putting it back together. I've owned 5 columbus instruments, and i've never paid more than £145, and only went that high because I really wanted a fretless jazz.
