Beak Davison Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 (edited) 1977 Fender precision made in USA. Beautiful original neck and pickups, unfortunately the body was damaged somewhere in its life so it has an all parts mint green body. The bass sounds and plays great!! just like a vintage 70s fender p as all electrics and pickups are original USA 1977 parts. Regretful sale, I have gigged this bass for ten years, I play double bass now and it gets over looked. It is in excellent playing condition, but it has slight rust on some screws on the scratch plate. Comes with flight case. Please feel free to call if you have any enquries. 07949788490. or 01539447469. Pay Pal or cash on collection. I could arrange courier, but will have to find out the cost. Offers welcome. Its well worth the price of a new USA P ! dream bass for someone. Edited December 12, 2011 by Beak Davison
Beak Davison Posted November 26, 2011 Author Posted November 26, 2011 I've dropped the price to £1200, but Offers are welcome.
topo morto Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I'd be interested in the story of what happened to the original body..!
Twigman Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 That's probably more ambitious than our German e-bay friend. What make is that rather sh*t copy body?
the boy Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Is this a joke thread? Am I missing something here.

topo morto Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 (edited)
It also had an enormous scratchplate that went all the way from neck to bridge...
So is this scratchplate on this for sale version of the bass original or not? Edited December 1, 2011 by topo morto

topo morto Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 You might consider adding the info about the refret job and fingerboard modification to the ebay listing. All it says is 'original neck', which could give the wrong impression...

Presidente Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011
Now on eBay for £800
Ou7shined Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011

There's a BIN too.
mrtcat Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Something tells me you may struggle to shift this on here....what with people knowing their stuff and all that.
Schnozzalee Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 I think by 'neck shaving' and 'refret' he means he changed the original neck to a 90's jazz as well...
Beak Davison Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 last drop then its off the market in these dead market times £700 .. or its coming down.
mckendrick Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 How much do you want for the rusty screws?
topo morto Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 No don't parts it out yet! Get one of those glitter pens and you can turn it into this... Which is getting a lot of interest... festive season you see....
