wateroftyne
Hi folks Been in the studio recently with one of my bands... here's a tune from it, which is pretty rocky for me. Recorded on my fretless P. I wasn't around for the mix, so I couldn't fight it's corner. it speeds up like a bugger, but we decided to free this one from the tyranny of the click, because of the nature of the tune. I think it works... http://soundcloud.com/wateroftyne/hm And here's a sampler of some other tunes... skankdelvar
Oh, I like that. A lot. Nice work sir, It's got that late 60's - early 70's vibe. Purple corduroy loons incoming. Edited November 24, 2011 by skankdelvar
Clarky
Nice. Reminds me a lot of early Bad Company .... which is good
ShergoldSnickers
Agreed Clarky. There is a definite Free and Bad Company feel. Excellent build up and the bass sound sits really well, with a lovely rounded warm tone with a smattering of that fretless mwah that doesn't dominate. Splendid work all round. Bilbo
Anyone know why Soundcloud doesn't work in AOL. I have to open Internet Explorer ina seperate window to listen (even to muy own stuff). Pain in arse!
wateroftyne
Cheers, all! It's great fun to do live. It's pretty uncharacteristic of the rest of the album...
Amafi
Really enjoyed that, I know you from another more local forum (BGGGP) Great stuff, lad. Fantastic tone.
Happy Jack
I'd love to hear that re-mixed with bass & drums significantly further forward in the mix.

BassTool
Very nice WOT and playing alongside one of my boyhood heroes Trevor Brewis! I was a huge Danceclass fan way back in the day, I still maintain they were a huge influence on me, what a band and what a drummist Bass sounds great, nice one JJ
