BassBod Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 I ordered some extra-long strings for my 36" scale bass at around 4pm Friday using Overwater's on-line shop - and they just landed on the doorstep at 10.30 Saturday morning. That's Carlisle to Bristol overnight. I probably couldn't have driven it quicker...with a coffee break or two. Impressed. Quote
bassace Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 My new Clarus, 12"Wizzy and 10" Wizzy made it down to Oxfordshire in a similar time. Best service ever. Quote
LukeFRC Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 I sent them a email about something, and was dead impressed by their quick reply. Then a few days later (on christmas day) I get a follow up email from Chris. Very impressive. I kinda want an overwater bass now! Quote
sykilz Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 How about naming the courier used, they do most of the work!!!!!! always helps to know who to use in future. Quote
Jabba The Hutt Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I've also found Overwater to give first rate service.... my Perception 5 Deluex is as good as their service - an absolute corker :-) Quote
Mornats Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Same great service here. Ordered some strings from Overwater at 2pm on Tuesday and they arrived (in Bristol too!) on Wednesday morning. Quote
Roland Rock Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 When I was using EA kit, Chris and Lawrence couldn't have been more helpful. When the handle split on the combo and they sent a couple of spares down immediately, free of charge. Quote
shizznit Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Chris and Lawrence really look after their customers no matter if you are buying a guitar strap or a £4k instrument. I have a lot of respect for those guys. Quote

Mornats Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Did I also mention that I'm chuffed to bits with my Overwater/Tanglewood Contemporary J4? Quote
Chlo_treacher Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 (edited) Yay i have an endorsement deal with them and cannot agree more, they are the nicest most helpful and honest people I've met. Totally feel like they have my back and didn't push me into needless 'custom' add-ons just for the sake of it when putting my order in for my endorsement instrument. CANNOT WAIT for my bass: 32" vintage white 4 string jazz series. With torte scratch plate, white pearl block inlays, matching head stock and electrical stuff that I cant really remember lol. Getting it in may. Very happy to represent them, chuffed to bits that they came to me too!! x Edited March 2, 2012 by Chlo_treacher Quote
