I have the following [relic][punk rock beauty][piece of sh!t][shabby chic work of art]* bass for sale. [size=2]* delete as appropriate[/size] It's key features are as follows: 1. it has a naked lady on it 2. it's been badly refinished, has a knob missing, and that scratchplate is home made 3. it was cheap to begin with 4. the electrics work, though I would expect the quality of the sound to match the quality of the finish 5. it has a naked lady on it Just look at this beauty! You can have this beauty for only £30 collected from Leeds! Unless, that is, your name is Tarquin and you have a large trust fund, in which case this will really tie your front room together and demonstrate your individuality, and it can therefore be yours for only three thousand pounds.

[/quote] Hi Tarquin, I think this IS the rugbyman model, it's just the ultra rare chinese made reissue version. That makes three grand a total bargain, which is why I will sell it to you for four. Just PM me your bank details, pin number, national insurance number, home addres and mother's maiden name and we'll get the ball rolling old chap.

[/quote] You'd need to try it out to be honest, in terms of what it sounds like, as I don't know enough about basses to describe it properly. Happy to facilitate a meet up though? I'll PM you my details. I have no idea what it is. I bought it years back off ebay and it's been in the loft for most of that time - your guess is as good as mine!
