VTypeV4
I thought I'd check the Bias on my Ashton BV and it was a bit all over the place but having no service data, I put it in the middle of the extremes.. One was as high as 48mV and the lowest was 28mV so I've set them at 35.5mV but haven't had chance to run it up loud yet. The anodes weren't glowing so I'm assuming all is well.. I did read on talk bass that one chap had set his at 25mV but another had set his much higher at 45 mV.. I appreciate that these are reference voltages and not the actual neg voltage applied to the grids however anyone with any data or info would be appreciated.. Cheers, Matt
VTypeV4
There's just not much info about them at all is there.. I borrowed the Trace V4 Mk2 back from Will (Longtimefred) so the Ashton can have a rest for a bit. It's a lovely amplifier and yes, I do miss it!
