Beedster Posted November 27, 2011 Share Posted November 27, 2011 (edited) I'm in the fortuitous position of playing a Aguilar DB659 pre through a Mesa Boogie Strategy 400 Stereo power amp, both with very nice tubes. As I'm sure you can imagine, the sound is to die for, but it's a lot to carry, especially if I'm doubling on DB and electric bass. I'm therefore in the market for a trade for something of similar quality and less power (the Mesa is LOUD). The trade-bait would need to be all-tube and in one unit. To be honest Steve I wasn't thinking of letting the cabs go, it was really the size and the expense of the amps that was the main factor, but looking at the size of the whole thing and being honest about how often I use it in its entirety, it's a possibility so I'll certainly keep you in mind C Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I also need some funds for a Takamine TB-10. The rig is in my Sig below. I'm looking for trades plus cash for a decent combo, ideally with some tubes (ironicaly I guess I'd quite like to go back to a Mesa Walkabout)! I'll post pics and prices per item this evening.
