franzbassist Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 So, earlier this summer, I dipped my toe in the P bass waters with this superb Squier. I've now decided to go the whole hog and complement my 70 fretless P with a fretted bass of similar vintage, so this bass has to go. It's a Squier Matt Freeman P bass in black/maple. It's in very good condition save for one dent on the edge of the body. I've upgraded it with a Duncan SPB 3 Quarter Pounder, a Badass, and a KiOgon P bass wiring kit. It sounds absolutely fantastic, balances very well and is nice and light. It really is a very good bass and I won't be that bothered if it doesn't sell, but I would like to get something old.... I'd like £400 posted.
franzbassist Posted November 29, 2011 Author Posted November 29, 2011 £300 posted with original bridge and pickup put back in instead of the Badass and SD pickup.
franzbassist Posted December 3, 2011 Author Posted December 3, 2011
I'm inclined to say JC for MF?
Now that is very tempting. Give me a few days to see how my potential P bass replacement searches go and I'll be in touch very soon. Nice...
